This is Nina, my favorite 20 year old resident buddy at Pet Safari. Pet Safari is a family run pet store that has been in existence in Augusta, GA for about 20 years. After we moved back from Florida last year, she started letting me pet her. She says “Scratch my head”, and lowers her head for me to scratch it and rub her neck. She then turns around and raises her wings for me to rub her legs and shoulders. She lets me know how happy she is by clicking her beak and pants like a dog. I’m told that outside of her family members, I am one of two people that she lets get that close to her. She sometimes gives me kisses on the nose. I love that sweet Nina!!!
