Moroccan-Style Flank Steak

Here is a recipe for a flank steak. The last time I tried flank steak, I was not too impressed with it. This does sound like it will give it good taste. From about.com.

Moroccan-Style Flank Steak

  1. 3-4 pounds flank steak
  2. 1 small onion, minced
  3. 1/2 cup olive oil
  4. 1/4 cup lemon juice
  5. 4 tablespoons minced ginger
  6. 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  7. 2 tablespoons flat leaf parsley, chopped
  8. 3 cloves garlic, minced
  9. 1 tablespoon cumin
  10. 1 tablespoon chili powder
  11. 1 tablespoon sherry
  12. 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  13. 1 teaspoon turmeric
  14. 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  15. 1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg (optional)

Place flank steak in a shallow baking dish. Combine remaining ingredients and pour
over meat. Turn steak a few times to coat well. Cover and place into refrigerator
for 6-12 hours. Preheat grill from medium heat. Remove steak from dish and place
onto grill. Cook for 8-10 minutes per side. When meat reaches desired doneness, remove
and allow to sit for 5-7 minutes before slicing.
